Aloette Liberty

Alo Food Group opened its first restaurant in Liberty Village earlier this summer – a takeout counter version of the much-loved diner, Aloette. Dishing up irresistible burgers topped with Beaufort cheese, fried chicken sandwiches, and torched sundaes, this the type of soul-satisfying comfort food that you’ll travel near or far for.

Biga Pies

Quality over quantity is the name of the game at Biga Pies, the newest pizza project from Chef Sean MacDonald of ēst restaurant, which sells only 20 pies per day. MacDonald believes that simple ingredients and stellar technique are the ingredients for success. With only two types of pies on the menu (Margherita and prosciutto), these pizzas have been flying out of the oven. It’s hard to find a purist Neapolitan pizza like this in Toronto, so if you want one, sprint on over.

Domaine Mamo

Domaine Mamo might just be the new jewel in midtown’s crown. Located in the heart of Mount Pleasant Village, Domaine Mamo’s menu is Inspired by French-Italian regional cuisine. Dishes celebrate the influences of land and sea in the diverse region, including seared bavette steak, duck sausage and braised cod filets. And, there are plenty of pizzas, pastas, and desserts.

Myth

This Greek restaurant that was once on the Danforth has planted new roots on King Street West. With the summer in full swing and people craving a getaway, a visit to Myth might be the next best thing. With an airy, Mediterranean vibe and authentic Greek dishes and drinks, you’ll be transported to the Greek Islands if only for a moment.

Toronto Beach Club
